Advancing translational autism research toward biologically informed, developmentally sensitive, and precision-oriented care.
The Department of Autism Research at ANTIBIOSTRESS CLINICS is dedicated to advancing scientific, translational, and precision-oriented approaches to autism spectrum disorder. Our work focuses on understanding the multidimensional heterogeneity of autism and developing clinically interpretable frameworks that can support future stratification, individualized intervention planning, and precision care.
Through the FIAP® Precision High-Tech Care Centre, our research program integrates neurodevelopmental science, biological burden modeling, therapeutic engagement, adaptive developmental timing, neuroplasticity, and emerging digital health approaches.
Our mission is to help bridge the gap between complex biological and developmental mechanisms and clinically meaningful decision-making in autism care.
Autism is a highly heterogeneous neurodevelopmental condition. Individuals may differ significantly in biological load, adaptive capacity, developmental timing, engagement accessibility, intervention responsiveness, and neuroplastic potential.
The Department of Autism Research focuses on developing translational constructs and frameworks that may help better characterize this complexity.
Our core scientific areas include:
The FIAP® Framework is being developed as an integrative translational model for autism research and precision care. It aims to connect biological, physiological, developmental, contextual, and therapeutic-process information into clinically interpretable constructs.
Key FIAP® constructs include:
Biological Burden Index — BBI
A multidomain framework for conceptualizing cumulative biological load in autism.
Therapeutic Engagement Index — TEI
A translational construct designed to understand variability in therapeutic accessibility, engagement, and intervention responsiveness.
Adaptive Neurodevelopmental Window Accessibility
A concept focused on the timing, openness, and adaptive readiness of developmental intervention windows.
Energetic Capacity and Neuroplastic Potential
A framework for considering reserve, resilience, metabolic support, and capacity for developmental adaptation.
FIAP®-Digital
A proposed clinician-guided, AI-assisted digital architecture for future multimodal stratification and precision care support.
Our work is grounded in the idea that autism care requires more than a one-size-fits-all approach. Future precision-oriented care should consider how biological burden, developmental timing, adaptive reserve, therapeutic engagement, and neuroplastic capacity interact within each individual.
The Department of Autism Research is committed to developing frameworks that are:
Scientifically grounded
built from neurodevelopmental, biological, clinical, and translational evidence.
Clinically interpretable
designed to support meaningful understanding rather than opaque classification.
Developmentally sensitive
attentive to timing, trajectories, and changing needs across development.
Ethically responsible
aligned with clinician-guided interpretation, data responsibility, and careful validation.
Future-oriented
prepared for pilot studies, construct validation, and responsible digital implementation.
The Department’s work follows a staged translational pathway:
Conceptual development → construct validation → multidomain measurement → translational stratification → pilot studies → clinician-guided digital implementation → precision care support
This pathway reflects our commitment to rigorous scientific development before clinical deployment.
Our current priorities include the development and dissemination of manuscripts, models, and translational frameworks related to:
The Department of Autism Research recognizes the importance of ethical and responsible innovation, especially when digital health and artificial intelligence are introduced into neurodevelopmental care.
FIAP®-Digital is conceptualized as a clinician-guided, interpretable, AI-assisted framework, not as an autonomous diagnostic or treatment system. Its future role is to support translational reasoning, individualized planning, and longitudinal monitoring under professional oversight.
